The latest ARC Raiders Update 1.36.0 has arrived with a large collection of improvements designed to make the extraction shooter experience smoother, fairer, and more enjoyable. From matchmaking changes to new seasonal content, the update focuses on improving the way players explore Speranza, fight ARC machines, and cooperate with other Raiders. For players who want to prepare for upcoming challenges, collecting useful resources and ARC Raiders BluePrints remains an important part of building stronger loadouts and improving long-term progression.

The new update introduces several major features, including Expedition 4, Trials Season 5, a special crossover event, store improvements, and a redesigned matchmaking system. Alongside these additions, the developers have delivered numerous bug fixes and balance adjustments based on player feedback. The goal of Update 1.36.0 is not only to add fresh content but also to improve the overall quality of every raid.

Improved Solo, Duo, and Trio Matchmaking

One of the biggest changes in Update 1.36.0 is the new matchmaking system. Previously, player behavior was shared between different squad sizes, meaning your experience in solo matches could influence the type of opponents or teammates you encountered in duo or trio games.

The new system now tracks playstyle separately for Solo, Duo, and Trio rounds. This means each squad size has its own matchmaking history. If you prefer peaceful exploration, completing quests, and collecting resources while playing solo, that style will no longer affect your trio matches.

For example, a player who enjoys friendly solo runs but prefers aggressive PvP strategies with teammates will now have separate matchmaking experiences. Switching between different squad sizes should feel more natural, allowing players to enjoy different ways of playing without unwanted matchmaking overlap.

This change was made after player feedback from the matchmaking survey in May. By separating these systems, the developers hope to create fairer encounters and better matches for every type of Raider.

New Crossover Event and Limited-Time Rewards

Update 1.36.0 also introduces a special crossover event with another popular shooter experience. Players can complete a series of Contracts to unlock exclusive rewards in ARC Raiders, including special cosmetic items and backpack bundles.

The crossover theme focuses on explorers and competitors who search for new opportunities beyond familiar locations. The event gives players another reason to experience different game modes while earning unique cosmetic rewards.

The promotion begins on July 9 at 3 PM CEST and runs until July 30 at 3 PM CEST. After the first phase ends, players will have additional opportunities to unlock related rewards through different activities.

Expedition 4, Trials Season 5, and Store Updates

The update adds Expedition 4 with the Zenith Outfit and Trials Season 5 featuring the Scorta Outfit. These new seasonal rewards give dedicated players additional goals to work toward while exploring the dangerous environments of Speranza.

The in-game store has also received improvements, including the new Triumph Set and a redesigned store layout. These changes make browsing available cosmetics and items easier while giving players a cleaner interface.

ARC Machine Loot and Gameplay Improvements

A major gameplay adjustment in Update 1.36.0 affects ARC Turbines. Many players previously felt that defeating these powerful machines required too much effort compared to the rewards they provided. The developers responded by significantly increasing the value of loot dropped from ARC Turbines.

Additional ARC-related fixes include preventing Turbines from disappearing immediately after spawning and adjusting Queen and Matriarch stomp knockback effects so they no longer pass through walls.

The update also improves item visibility. Weapons dropped on the ground now display installed modifications, making it easier for players to identify valuable equipment. ARC Turbine parts will no longer appear from Couriers, helping maintain a more balanced loot system.

Map, Quest, and User Interface Improvements

Several issues affecting maps and player movement have been fixed. Locations where players could become stuck or fall through terrain, especially around The Dam near spawn bunkers, have received adjustments.

Quest navigation has also been improved. Previously, claiming rewards and pressing ESC could sometimes return players to the completed quest screen, preventing them from selecting another mission. This issue has now been resolved.

The update includes multiple UI improvements as well. The Emote Wheel now updates availability while open, HUD settings work correctly when starting rounds, and several localization issues have been fixed.

Players who use the Raider Den will also notice better item display behavior, as higher-value items will appear properly even when players own large quantities of lower-value resources.

Fair Play and Anti-Cheat Enhancements

Maintaining a fair environment continues to be a major focus for ARC Raiders. The developers have expanded their anti-cheat efforts and completed the rollout of Denuvo Anti-Cheat for all players.

The team explained that detection systems are continuously improving through hardware and software analysis, machine-learning input monitoring, and other security methods. These improvements help identify players using unfair advantages and protect the overall game economy.

The developers are also continuing to fight item duplication exploits. Recent fixes have addressed several duplication issues, while the team continues monitoring the economy to prevent future problems.

The experimental "No Free Loadout" system introduced in previous updates is also being reviewed. The developers are considering expanding this feature to additional map conditions while continuing to collect feedback from the community.

Preparing for Future Updates

ARC Raiders Update 1.36.0 represents another step toward creating a more balanced and enjoyable extraction experience. With better matchmaking, new seasonal rewards, improved loot systems, and stronger anti-cheat measures, the game continues to evolve based on community feedback.

As new challenges arrive, having the right equipment and resources will remain important for surviving raids. Many players will continue focusing on collecting valuable materials, weapons, and progression items to improve their chances in difficult encounters. Players who want to prepare efficiently may look for reliable ways to buy ARC Raiders Items and strengthen their inventory before entering dangerous areas.

The future of ARC Raiders will depend on continued updates, player feedback, and improvements to core systems. With Update 1.36.0 introducing meaningful changes, Raiders have more reasons than ever to return to Speranza, explore new opportunities, and build stronger collections of gear. For those looking to save time while preparing for future battles, choosing a trusted option to buy ARC Raiders Items can help players focus more on the adventure and less on long resource farming sessions.
