The Vorax update in Torchlight: Infinite introduces a small but very focused set of new legendary items. These pieces are not general-purpose power boosts. Instead, they reward specific mechanics such as block scaling, Tangle stacking, movement-based damage, and conditional uptime play.

1. Silent Avowal (STR Chest Armor)

[Castling]: Block Chance equals Block Ratio. The Block Ratio for a corresponding damage type equals its Block Chance; Blocking is not guaranteed.

[Cause Without Effect]: +30% Block Ratio when Attack Block Chance equals Spell Block Chance; When they differ, the higher one gains Lucky Block

[Wield My Sword]: +10% Block Ratio and Block Ratio Upper Limit; +1% additional damage for every +4% Attack or Spell Block Chance

[Absolve My Sin]: +10% Block Ratio and Block Ratio Upper Limit; -1% additional Damage Over Time taken for every +2% Block Ratio owned

+(1-20)% Life Regain

Summary

The Vorax legendary gear in Torchlight: Infinite is deliberately narrow in scope. None of these items are universal best-in-slot choices. Instead, each one rewards:

  • Balanced stat investment
  • Mechanical understanding
  • Consistent play patterns

If your build already aligns with block scaling, Tangle stacking, movement-based damage, or conditional uptime, these legendaries can feel excellent. If not, forcing them usually results in weaker performance than standard gear.
