The Cityscapes Mini Seasons in MLB The Show 26 were released alongside the broader Cityscapes Program on May 1, 2026. This mode is a key component for completing the Cityscapes Collection, which features the 93 OVR Mickey Mantle.

Mini Seasons Overview

  • Flexibility: You can choose between a 7-game sprint or a 28-game season.
  • Game Length: Options for both 3-inning and 9-inning games.
  • Difficulty: Competitive, but efficient for stacking missions with other Diamond Dynasty programs.

There are 4 primary Cityscapes player cards to earn through specific Mini Seasons missions. These follow a "chain" progression:

Beyond the player cards, you will earn standard Mini Seasons rewards including:

  • Stubs & XP (Boosted by Double XP Weekend through May 4).
  • The Show Packs & Ballin' is a Habit Packs.
  • Cityscapes Deluxe Packs (Guarantees 1 Diamond player from the Cityscapes series).

Known Issues & Tips

  • Mission Tracking: Some players have reported a bug where games don't register if you manage your squad inside the Mini Seasons menu. It is recommended to manage your squad in the main Diamond Dynasty menu before entering the season.
  • Collection Progress: These 4 players are essential if you are grinding for the 92 OVR Clay Buchholz (12 cards needed) or 93 OVR Jimmy Rollins (24 cards needed).
  • PXP Strategy: Since Edgar Martinez requires a high PXP total, focus on using Cityscapes players from the Conquest map (like Richie Sexson) or the Program (like JR Richard) to double-dip on "Cityscapes Program" PXP missions while playing Mini Seasons.
