Talent points by level
This is one complete solo route for the Forever tree. The ranges show where to spend each newly earned point. At levels 1–9, focus on ranged attacks and kiting while you work toward the level 10 taming quest.

How to handle a normal solo pull
- Send the pet first. Pick an isolated target and let the pet land its first attacks. Keep it from running through extra enemies on the way in.
- Attack from range. Keep Auto Shot going. Add Serpent Sting when the target will live long enough for it to matter. Use Arcane Shot before Summon Hawk is available, and use Hawk once your build has it.
- Hold a tool for trouble. If the pet loses control of the pull, stop adding damage and use your available slow, pet stun or escape. Heal and feed the pet between pulls as needed.
- Change pet controls in dungeons. Let the tank open. Turn off Growl when a tank is holding the pack and use Passive or Follow when the group is moving past enemies.
⚑ Pet taking too much damage? Check its health and whether you pulled more than one enemy. Use Mend Pet as needed and get comfortable recalling it before trying larger pulls.

Frequently asked questions
Which pet should I use at level 10?
A nearby boar or bear is a practical solo choice. The pet you can get quickly and keep fed is enough to start.
Can I fire Arcane Shot and Summon Hawk back to back?
They share a cooldown. Treat Hawk as your choice for that slot once you learn it.
Should I use Bestial Wrath on every pull?
Use it where the pet has time to benefit, such as a tougher enemy. An enemy that dies in a few shots rarely needs it.
Do I need to respec at 40?
No. This route keeps Beast Mastery and adds Marksmanship points from 41 onward. A dedicated endgame build can be a separate decision.
