Step-By-Step Strategy To Conquer Strongholds Easily

The easiest way to conquer the strongholds is to skip stealing fans and focus on building one massive army. This lets you play every stronghold game on the easiest difficulty level (Rookie or Veteran).

Follow these five steps to beat the map with ease:

1. Fill the Empty Space First

Do not attack other teams right away. Move your main army into the empty gray spaces next to you. Taking these free spaces gives you more territories. The more territories you own, the more reinforcement troops you get at the start of every turn.

2. Skip the “Steal Fans” Phase

Every turn will ask you to play a game to “Steal Fans.” Skip this phase every single time. Playing these extra games takes too long and is not needed to win.

3. Build One Massive Army

During the “Reinforce” phase, put all your new troops onto one single tile. Do not spread your troops out to defend your borders. Other teams rarely attack your weak tiles.

4. Attack Only on Rookie or Veteran

Move your one giant army toward an enemy stronghold. Before you click to attack the stronghold, check the game difficulty.

  • If your army is much bigger than the stronghold, the game lets you play on Rookie or Veteran.
  • If the difficulty is too high, skip the attack phase, pass the turn, and add more troops to your army until the difficulty drops.

5. Sim All the Regular Tiles

When you are moving across the map, you will have to fight normal tiles. Always use the “Simulate” option for these. Only play the actual games when you are attacking a stronghold tile.
