Continue ShoppingARC Raiders is entering another active week in the Rust Belt, with Weekly Trials running from August 31 through September 6. Alongside these limited-time objectives, players have opportunities to collect useful rewards and improve their stockpile of ARC Raiders BluePrints. Meanwhile, Gamescom 2026 and a new hardware collaboration have brought additional attention to the extraction shooter, although the community remains focused on one question: what substantial gameplay content is coming next?
The current week combines familiar combat challenges with resource gathering and exploration. While none of the objectives completely changes the way players approach a raid, they provide several reasons to revisit locations such as Buried City, Old Town, and Stella Montis. For regular Raiders, completing these tasks efficiently can also help build resources for future updates.

The latest Weekly Trials are available until September 6, giving players a limited window to complete the current objectives. Because the rotation will eventually change, players who want to maximize their progress should avoid leaving the challenges until the final day.
One objective requires players to open containers in Buried City or Old Town. This is among the simplest tasks because it does not demand a particular weapon or combat strategy. Players can focus on searching buildings and other loot locations while naturally making progress toward the Trial.
Another challenge involves dealing melee damage to ARC enemies. Bastions and Bombardiers can provide suitable targets, although getting close enough to larger ARC machines can be dangerous. Players should consider their equipment and escape route before attempting repeated melee attacks.
A third objective asks Raiders to destroy Pops. Stella Montis can be a useful location for this challenge, allowing players to follow a repeatable route and clear groups of enemies. Maintaining a steady rotation can make this objective less tedious, particularly when playing with teammates.
The most awkward Trial this week involves damaging flying ARC enemies with fireworks. The unusual combination of fireworks and airborne targets can make positioning difficult. Players may need several attempts before consistently landing hits, so it is better to treat this as a side objective rather than forcing progress during a dangerous fight.
The current Trial rotation also features several rewards, including the Peace emote, Volcano shotgun, and Shotgun Silencer Blueprint.
The value of these rewards depends heavily on each player's existing inventory. Newer Raiders may find the requirements demanding, especially when specific materials or ARC Cores are needed. Experienced players with larger stockpiles should have an easier time completing the necessary objectives.
The Shotgun Silencer Blueprint is particularly interesting for players who enjoy experimenting with different equipment setups. Blueprints can have long-term value because they contribute to crafting and preparation beyond a single raid.
Still, these rewards should be viewed as part of the weekly progression rather than a major content expansion. They give active players something to chase, but they do not fundamentally change the extraction loop.
Gamescom 2026 has also placed ARC Raiders under the spotlight. A message from executive producer Alec discussed the game's future direction, including plans that could eventually take players beyond Speranza.
One of the more interesting ideas involves Outposts and customizable player hubs. If developed into a meaningful system, Outposts could become an important part of the game's long-term progression.
Extraction games naturally spend much of their time focused on raids, but players also need reasons to remain engaged between deployments. A customizable hub could potentially provide additional progression, personalization, social interactions, or other activities that complement the existing extraction experience.
This type of feature could have a greater effect on player retention than another short-term Trial rotation. The key will be depth. If Outposts become more than a cosmetic space, they could give players another long-term goal to work toward.
ARC Raiders has also partnered with a gaming hardware brand for themed equipment, including a keyboard, headset, mouse, and mouse pad.
From a promotional perspective, the collaboration gives the game additional exposure among PC gamers and hardware enthusiasts. It can help keep ARC Raiders visible even when there is no major gameplay release.
However, increased visibility is not the same as increased retention. Players who have already stepped away from the Rust Belt are more likely to return because of meaningful new content than because of promotional hardware.
That is why many community discussions continue to focus on gameplay additions. New locations, weapons, ARC enemies, missions, and progression systems could provide stronger reasons to return.
Another recent addition generating discussion is the camera item. On its own, the camera can be useful for taking screenshots, creating videos, or supporting community-driven content.
The controversy comes from timing rather than the concept itself. Some players believe the game needs deeper gameplay systems before receiving features that primarily support creative activities.
A camera could eventually become more interesting if it is integrated into missions or exploration. For example, future objectives could potentially give players reasons to document locations, identify targets, or interact with the world in new ways.
For now, however, the camera has become part of a larger discussion about development priorities. Players are asking whether upcoming updates will prioritize systems that directly expand the extraction experience.
ARC Raiders appears to be at an important point in its development. Weekly Trials provide short-term goals, while Gamescom announcements and collaborations help maintain public interest. However, long-term momentum will ultimately depend on substantial gameplay updates.
Outposts could be one piece of that puzzle. New areas, additional ARC enemies, weapons, missions, progression options, and gameplay mechanics could provide even stronger reasons to return to the Rust Belt.
For the immediate future, players should take advantage of the current Weekly Trials, prioritize rewards that fit their playstyle, and manage their resources carefully. Those who want to prepare their inventories can also look into cheap ARC Raiders BluePrints as another way to strengthen their crafting options.
Ultimately, the success of the next major update will depend on whether it delivers meaningful new experiences rather than simply adding another temporary objective. If the developers can combine stronger gameplay content with continued community engagement, ARC Raiders still has plenty of room to build momentum and keep Raiders coming back to the Rust Belt.
