In Path of Exile 3.28 (Mirage League), Harbinger has been removed as a core league mechanic. GGG has stated they intend to rework the mechanic for a future update, potentially as early as 3.29.0.

The Shadow Shaping, Bold Undertakings, and Singular Focus Atlas Keystone Passives have been removed. Added a new Atlas Keystone Passive, The Paths Not Taken, which grants Divination Cards found in your Maps are from two random other Maps instead of the one you’re in.

Instead, they focus on: Reducing unnecessary clicks, Improving visibility and feedback, Preventing accidental mistakes, Making controller play more practical, and Cleaning up UI clutter. Individually, many of these changes are small. Together, they make everyday gameplay smoother and more predictable. For long-term players of Path of Exile, these kinds of adjustments often have a larger impact than headline features because they affect every session.
