No, Helldivers 2 is not available on PS4. The game was developed exclusively for PlayStation 5 and PC to utilize current-generation hardware, meaning it cannot be played on the older PS4 console. It was released on February 8, 2024, as a next-gen title.
No PS4 Support
- No PS4 Support: Arrowhead Game Studios has not released a PS4 version, and it is highly unlikely one will be made.

- Alternative: Players with a PS4 can play the original Helldivers (2015), which is a top-down shooter available on that platform.
Is Helldivers 2 On Game Pass
Helldivers 2 is available to play on Xbox, but it is not on Xbox Game Pass as a included title. Players must purchase the game separately on the Xbox store to play. It is, however, playable via Xbox Cloud Gaming, which requires an active Game Pass Ultimate subscription.
- No Game Pass Launch: Developers confirmed Helldivers 2 would not come to Xbox Game Pass at launch.
- Purchase Required: To play, you must buy the game for Xbox, notes this Reddit post.
- Cloud Streaming: While not in the subscription library, you can stream the game with Game Pass Ultimate.

Is Helldivers 2 On Switch
Helldivers 2 is not available on the Nintendo Switch. As a high-performance title published by Sony Interactive Entertainment, it is currently exclusive to PS5 and PC. While there is speculation regarding a potential port to the next-generation Nintendo console (often referred to as Switch 2) due to its power, nothing has been officially announced.
Key Details Regarding Porting Concerns:
- Performance Constraints: The current Nintendo Switch hardware is considered too weak to run Helldivers 2.
- Porting Probability: While some, including this Reddit user, believe a future "Switch 2" could handle it, others argue the CPU-intensive nature of the game makes it unlikely.
- Alternatives: Players looking for similar cooperative experiences on Switch often look to other titles, as the game's focus on heavy particle effects and 3D graphics does not align with the current console's capabilities.
- CEO Comments: Arrowhead CEO Shams Jorjani responded to questions about a Switch 2 version with "We'll see," noting it is not currently in development.
Is Helldivers 2 On Geforce Now
Helldivers 2 is not currently available on NVIDIA GeForce NOW. As a PlayStation-published title, it is excluded from the service due to Sony's general policy against cloud gaming platforms.
Alternative Cloud Streaming Options:
- Boosteroid: Users have reported that Helldivers 2 is available on the Boosteroid cloud gaming platform.
- Shadow PC: As a full cloud PC, this service can run the game, though it is more expensive.
While some users are actively campaigning to bring the game to GeForce NOW, there is currently no official indication that it will be added soon.
