1. What is an Amplify Stone?

The Amplify Stone (Unique) (Bound) is a legendary gemstone designed to awaken the full potential of your unique gear. Once your item reaches its maximum enhancement level, using an Amplify Stone lets you push it even further, unlocking additional power and stats. Think of it as the final step to turning your +15 gear into something truly top-tier.

2. How to Get Amplify Stones

2.1 Raids and Dungeons

Weekly raids are one of the main sources. These medium-sized dungeons usually take around 10 minutes, and higher difficulties increase your chances of getting Amplify Stone Fragments, which can later be combined into a full stone.

2.2 Substance Morphing

Fragments collected from raids, dungeons, or bosses can be combined through the Substance Morph screen (open via the menu or Alt + H) to create a full Amplify Stone. This crafting system is your main way to turn smaller fragments into usable stones.

2.3 Rare Boss Drops

Certain high-level bosses in specific instances have a small chance to drop Amplify Stones directly. These drops are rare, so repeated attempts may be required.

2.4 In-Game Events and Strongholds

Some community reports suggest Amplify Stones can appear as rare rewards from strongholds or special caves. These are less predictable but worth checking if you participate in event content.

2.5 Crafting and Extraction

High-level gear can sometimes be transmuted or extracted to produce Amplify Stones. If you have duplicate or unwanted items, this is a useful way to get a stone without waiting for drops.

2.6 Event or Exchange Shops

Special vendors during events or in high-tier exchange shops occasionally sell Amplify Stones. Keep an eye on in-game announcements for these opportunities.

2.7 Community Market

In some versions, Amplify Stones may be purchased from other players by paying Aion 2 Kinah. However, be aware that most stones are bound on pickup, meaning they cannot be traded after acquisition.

3. How to Use Amplify Stones

3.1 Acquire an Amplification Tool

First, you'll need an Amplification Tool, available at general goods merchants in major cities like Pandemonium (Asmodian) or Sanctum (Elyos). This tool is required to apply the stone to your gear.

3.2 Open the Amplification Interface

Right-click your Amplification Tool, then left-click the gear you want to amplify. A new window will appear showing the amplification slots.

3.3 Perform the Amplification

Place the Amplify Stone (or a duplicate of the item) into the designated slot and click Amplify. The process has a 100% success rate, so there's no risk of failure. The stone or duplicate item will be consumed during the process.

3.4 Continue Enchanting

After amplification, you can continue to push your gear using Omega Enchantment Stones, surpassing its previous enhancement limits and making your gear truly powerful.

4. Key Tips for Amplification

  • Safe and Guaranteed: Amplification always succeeds, making it a reliable way to progress without risking your gear.
  • Why Amplify: This is essential for endgame players aiming for top-tier equipment, usually after reaching +15 enhancements.
  • Alternative Method: If you don't have an Amplify Stone, an identical piece of the gear can be used to achieve the same amplification effect.
