PoE Mirage Empowered Rewards 3.28: Mirage Endgame, Strongbox, Blight, Legion, Ultimatum

In Path of Exile 3.28: Mirage, "Empowered" refers to existing league mechanics that are augmented when they appear within the Mirage's dominion (the Astral Realm). These encounters are more difficult but offer unique and powerful rewards.

Wishes are not the only value a Mirage has to offer to an enterprising Exile. Mirages are an imperfect copy of the area the Djinn occupies in Wraeclast, and it will copy almost anything, as long as it's within the domain of the Djinn.

Mirage Endgame Map

Mirages created from an Endgame Map, for instance, will have all Scarab, Atlas, and map modifiers the area had.

Mirage strongbox

Mirages created next to a strongbox, will have a new strongbox ready for you to open.

• Rewards: Can spawn an Opalescent Strongbox instead.

Mirage Blight

Blights can be defended again…

Blight Encounters recreated in Mirages have one of their lanes replaced by Afarud enemies, infested with Blight. This lane can reward a new base type: the Cord belt! The implicit of this Belt allows it to be anointed, causing it to grant a Passive Tree notable of your choosing.

Mechanics changes: One lane's monsters will be replaced by Afarud monsters.

• Rewards: Completing a Mirage reward lane successfully can cause the Blight pump to sometimes drop a Cord Belt

Mirage Legion

Legions fought once more...

The factions of a Legion may differ from the one the Mirage copied, or the variety of strongboxes may change.

Mirage Essence

• Reards: Essence monster can contain an Essence of Desolation.

Mirage Expedition

Mechanics changes: Rare Expedition monsters can be empowered, visible as a flame on the skull markers

Mirage Kingsmarch Ore Deposit

Mechanics changes: Ore deposits can be replaced by a Thaumaturgic Dust Hourglass.

• Rewards: Completing the Thaumaturgic Hourglass encounter rewards Dust instead of Ore.

Mirage Harvest

• Rewards: Can drop a Crystallised Rancour

Mirage Ultimatum

Can generate exclusive Ultimatum modifiers:

• Restless Ground: A patch of Unhallowed Ground will appear that Hinder players and cause slain Monsters to resurrect as Zombies
• Quicksand I: A pit of slowing Quicksand will periodically appear
• Quicksand II: A large pit of slowing Quicksand will periodically appear
• Rewards: Can reward Sinistral Catalyst or Dextral Catalyst instead of regular Catalysts
