The Trade-off
In the current meta, losing five flask slots is a massive sacrifice. Flasks usually provide immunity to ailments, massive armor/evasion, and speed. However, getting Permanent Diamond and Resistance Shrines is a unique way to bridge that gap.
Key Strengths
Guaranteed Crit: The Diamond Shrine is the star here. Being able to ignore Critical Strike Chance on the passive tree and gear allows you to go "all-in" on Critical Strike Multiplier, making your damage ceiling incredibly high.
Max Resistance: +10% to all maximum Resistances is one of the rarest and most powerful stats in the game. It effectively reduces the elemental damage you take by roughly 40% (if moving from 75% to 85%).
Chaos Resistance: Having a high flat value (28%) on a unique belt is a great "quality of life" addition for high-tier mapping.
Potential Synergies
The Gull (Unique Helmet): While the belt provides the buffs, wearing The Gull would increase the effect of those shrines by 75% and increase their duration (though duration is irrelevant if you stay flaskless).
Ward Loops or Trappers: Builds that don't traditionally rely on "on-hit" flask gains or specific unique flasks (like Progenesis or Bottled Faith) would benefit most.
Hollow Palm Technique: Since this build already restricts your glove and weapon slots, the belt fits the "minimalist" theme while solving the crit and resistance issues inherent to those builds.
