In Path of Exile, the Cord Belt is a new base type introduced in the 3.28 Mirage league.
Cord Belt
- Can be Anointed
Implicit Modifier: Its unique and powerful implicit property is "Can be Anointed".
Strategic Value: Because it can be anointed, it allows players to gain an additional Passive Skill Tree Notable without spending skill points, making it highly competitive against other endgame belt bases like the Stygian Vise or Crystal Belt.

How to get Cord Belt?
- Can drop from the Blight pump after completing a Blight encounter while in a Mirage.
Comparison with Other Belts
While the Cord Belt offers a free notable, players must weigh this against the benefits of other high-tier bases:
- Stygian Vise: Provides an Abyssal Socket for a Ghastly, Searching, or Murderous Eye Jewel.
- Crystal Belt: Offers a high flat Energy Shield implicit.
- Unique Belts: Powerful uniques like Mageblood or Headhunter often define specific builds, though the Cord Belt is considered a top-tier rare base option for those who need a specific passive notable.
