Forza Horizon 6 Key Exploration Activities

Key Exploration Activities

To collect all stamps and become a Master Explorer, you'll need to dive into these open-world activities:

1. Unfogging the Map

Your first task is to clear the “fog of war” across Japan. Simply drive into unexplored areas—mountains, beaches, and city streets—to reveal them on your map. Pay attention to minor side roads, as these often hide collectibles and secret events.

2. Discovering Roads

Forza Horizon 6 has a massive 673 roads to find. Make it a point to take every route, even the twisting mountain passes. Some roads aren't obvious—they might be tucked behind tunnels or down forest paths—so use your map markers and revisit areas to ensure nothing is missed.

3. Smashing Collectibles

The game is packed with Bonus Boards and Regional Mascots. There are 200 of each scattered around Japan. Bonus Boards usually require high-speed jumps or precise drifts, while Mascots are more about spotting hidden statues in towns and forests. Collect them all to keep your journal stamps progressing.

4. Treasure & Aftermarket Cars

If you're a fan of rare rides, you'll love hunting the 9 Treasure Cars hidden across Japan, similar to the classic Barn Finds. Additionally, Aftermarket Cars appear in secret locations—you'll need to search thoroughly, sometimes in off-road areas, to snag them. These are essential for completing the “Making Your Own Path” and “What An Adventure!” stamps.

Tips from an Experienced Explorer

  • Use the map often – Drop pins in areas you've yet to explore.
  • Mix up cars – Some vehicles handle off-road better, helping you reach hidden collectibles.
  • Pay attention to sound cues – Bonus Boards and Treasure Cars sometimes have subtle visual or audio hints.
  • Plan multiple trips – It's okay if you don't find everything in one session; the map is huge.
  • Track your progress – Your Collection Journal keeps count, so check frequently to stay on course.
