PoE Vaal Temptation Support Exceptional Gem Build 3.28

In Path of Exile patch 3.28 (Mirage League), Vaal Temptation Support is a new support gem that creates a high-risk, high-reward synergy with Vaal skills.

Vaal Temptation Support is a PoE Exceptional Gem. Tag: Exceptional, Support, Vaal. Level: (1—3). Requires Level (72—76), (72—75) Str, (50—52) Int. Supports Vaal skills. Using Supported Vaal Skills inflicts Vaal Temptation on you dealing (1300—1500) Physical Damage per Second, instead of applying Soul Gain Prevention (Vaal Temptation lasts for the duration that Soul Gain Prevention would have applied and can stack) Corrupted Additional Effects From Quality: Supported Skills deal (0—10)% increased Damage This is a Support Gem. It does not grant a bonus to your character, but to skills in sockets connected to it. Place into an item socket connected to a socket containing the Skill Gem you wish to augment. Vaal Temptation Support Mechanics

• Mechanic: Using supported Vaal skills inflicts "Vaal Temptation" on the player, dealing 1500 Physical Damage per second.
• Soul Gain Prevention: It replaces the standard Soul Gain Prevention period.
• Spammability: This allows for 100% uptime (spamming) of Vaal skills, such as Vaal Ground Slam, while mapping.
• Stacking Damage: The damage penalty stacks, with each press of a supported skill causing ~1500 physical damage over 1 second.
• Survivability: The damage can be managed through high life recovery, particularly with Slayer overleech, Hematophagy, and increased maximum total recovery per second from leech.
• Use Cases: It is specifically highlighted for enabling high-uptime, high-damage, or spammy Vaal skill builds like Vaal Ground Slam of Earthshaking or Vaal Blade Vortex.

Over 40 New Exceptional Support Gems

Upon defeating the Endgame Incarnation bosses in Path of Exile: Mirage, powerful new Support Gems will begin dropping from specific Atlas Bosses. These new Support gems are categorised as Exceptional, being a significant expansion of that class of Support gem.

Exceptional Support Gems are more transformative, offering an additional way to customise your build in the late game and extending character customisation even further into a build’s life.
