In Path of Exile 3.28 (Mirage League), Delirium remains a top-tier endgame mechanic for high-density mapping and currency generation. The strategy typically splits into Delirium Mirror (speed-clearing for rewards) or Delirium Orb (layered maps for high value).

Recommended 3.28 Strategies

1. Delirium + Beyond + Alva (The "Density" Strategy):

  • Goal: Maximize monster count to reach 7+ reward layers consistently.
  • Key Nodes: Take all Delirium duration nodes and "Beyond" portal chance. Alva (Incursion) is used because it pauses the Delirium timer while inside the temple, allowing for massive reward scaling.

2. Delirium + Legion/Breach (The "Loot" Strategy):

  • Goal: Combine mechanics that spawn a high volume of monsters quickly.
  • Note: While profitable, this is "rippy" (high difficulty). In 3.28, the Breach tree has been reworked, making it less about perfect items and more about monster density.

3. Delirium Orb Farming:

  • Goal: Run 8-mod corrupted maps with 4-5 Delirium Orbs (e.g., Fine or Diviner's).
  • Key Nodes: Focus on nodes that increase the effect of Delirium Orbs and map modifiers rather than Mirror chance.
