How to Access Crafting Recipes

You can access crafting recipes through two primary sources:

1. In-Game Journal: Open the Journal by pressing Esc and clicking the book icon. This will show all available recipes, including runewords and item upgrades.
2. Crafting Station: Located near the blacksmith in town, the crafting station allows you to see possible combinations for crafting items. You can also use it to upgrade and socket your gear.

Core Crafting Categories

1. Socketing Items

Socketing is essential for adding runes to your items and is one of the first crafting systems you will encounter.

• Recipe: 2x Hell Runes + 1x Perfect Gem + White/Gray Item = Random number of sockets.
• Tip: Socketing allows you to use runewords to enhance your items later on. The more sockets an item has, the more runewords you can insert.

2. Runeword Crafting

Runewords are created by placing specific runes in precise order into socketed gray or white items. These can provide powerful bonuses like increased damage, resistances, or cast speeds.

• Example Runewords:
  • Skyong: A popular caster runeword that provides boosts to skills and faster cast rate (FCR).
  • Quick Step: Requires Zo + Key runes in 2-socket boots to increase movement speed.
  • Scholar: Requires Way + Ye + Zo in a 3-socket item to improve skill effects and mana regeneration.

6. Item Upgrading (Stars)

To improve the stats of your Mythic, Satanic, or Angelic gear, you can use powders and crystals to increase the "star level" of your items. The higher the star level, the stronger your item becomes.

• Materials: Destiny Shards, Gypsy Prophecies, and various upgrade tokens.

Satanic Upgrades
