PoE Hiveborn Support Exceptional Gem Build Guide 3.28

PoE 3.28: Introduced Exceptional Support Gems, a new and improved version of Awakened Support Gems, which are being phased out. There are over 40 Exceptional Support Gems, which can be found in the Endgame.

Hiveborn Support

Hiveborn Support is an Exceptional Support Gem. Tag: Exceptional, Minion, Cold, Support, Spell, Trigger. Level: 3 (Max). Cost & Reservation Multiplier: 130%. Quality: +20%. Requires Level 76, 120 Int Supports offering skills you use yourself. Supported Offerings Trigger Summon Hiveborn when used Flavour Text: "We spill forth, cleaving our flesh to theirs, until we become one." Summon Hiveborn Cooldown Time: 5.00 sec. Cast Time: 1.00 sec. Summons a horde of Hiveborn Breach monsters to do your bidding. These summoned monsters have all their physical damage converted to cold. Base duration is 10.00 seconds Maximum 14 Hiveborn Base radius is 4.5 metres Summons 5 Hiveborn Minions have 20% chance to Cover Enemies in Frost on Hit This is a Support Gem. It does not grant a bonus to your character, but to skills in sockets connected to it. Place into an item socket connected to a socket containing the Skill Gem you wish to augment. Right click to remove from a socket.

Originator Voidstone

• Bosses within the Atlas can drop Astrolabes and Exceptional Support Gems

This Voidstone allows new Exceptional Support Gems to drop from many bosses across the Atlas.

The Labyrinth Gem craft

• The Labyrinth Gem craft outcome to exchange a Support Gem for its Awakened version has been removed.
• The Labyrinth Gem craft outcome to exchange a Support Gem for a random Exceptional Support Gem, instead now states you will receive a random Empower, Enlighten or Enhance Support Gem.

Bestiary

• The Beastcrafting recipe to increase the level of non-Corrupted Awakened Gem by 1 now adds 500m Experience to an Exceptional Support Gem.
• The Beastcrafting recipe to Reroll an Awakened Support Gem now sacrifices an Exceptional Support Gem for 3 high Level, high Quality Support Gems.
