Supports non-aura hex curse skills. Supported Skills create Cursed Ground with a base Duration of 14 seconds Hexes from Supported Skills have no Duration Enemies on the Cursed Ground from a Supported Skill are Cursed with that Hex Maximum 1 area of Cursed Ground 10% increased Area of Effect of Supported Curse Skills Cursed Ground from Supported Skills Triggers Bursting Toad every 0.8 seconds Flavour Text: "A warlock like myself knows that even the most abominable plagues are part of the cycle of life and death. From that ruination, new life will emerge, and that life will kill, and so on..." Bursting Toad Cast Time: 1.00 sec. Critical Strike Chance: 5.00%. Effectiveness of Added Damage: 400%. Key Mechanics

It modifies skills to create Cursed Ground and trigger toad-themed effects.

• Cursed Ground Creation: Supported skills now create Cursed Ground upon use.
• Trigger Interval: The gem triggers at a static interval, notably 0.8 seconds at Level 3 with 20% quality. This is not affected by Cooldown Recovery Rate (CDR).
• Hextoad Trigger: While on the Cursed Ground, the skill periodically spawns "toads" that move toward and hit enemies.

Scaling

• Gem Level: Higher levels appear to reduce the trigger interval.
• Quality: Quality increases the Area of Effect of the Cursed Ground.
• Item Interactions: Items like Dialla's Malefaction or Skin of the Lords are being considered to pump gem levels to achieve faster trigger rates.

Build Guide

• Cursed Ground Limit: Players are generally limited to one Cursed Ground area; creating a new one will overwrite the previous one.
• Playstyle: Early impressions suggest a potential delay between casting and the toads hitting targets, which may feel "clunky" for fast clearing.
• Ignite/Ailments: Because it has high base damage and a slower trigger rate, it is considered potent for single-stack ailment builds like Ignite or Sadism Poison.
• Triggerbots: It is expected to work with Triggerbots, though the bots' movement might lead to a disconnected playstyle.
• Chaos DoT: Some players are exploring its use in Chaos Damage over Time builds using items like Ancient King's Warstaff (Kulemak).

Over 40 New Exceptional Support Gems

Upon defeating the Endgame Incarnation bosses in Path of Exile: Mirage, powerful new Support Gems will begin dropping from specific Atlas Bosses. These new Support gems are categorised as Exceptional, being a significant expansion of that class of Support gem.

Exceptional Support Gems are more transformative, offering an additional way to customise your build in the late game and extending character customisation even further into a build’s life.

This Voidstone allows new Exceptional Support Gems to drop from many bosses across the Atlas.

The Labyrinth Gem craft

• The Labyrinth Gem craft outcome to exchange a Support Gem for its Awakened version has been removed.
• The Labyrinth Gem craft outcome to exchange a Support Gem for a random Exceptional Support Gem, instead now states you will receive a random Empower, Enlighten or Enhance Support Gem.

Bestiary

• The Beastcrafting recipe to increase the level of non-Corrupted Awakened Gem by 1 now adds 500m Experience to an Exceptional Support Gem.
• The Beastcrafting recipe to Reroll an Awakened Support Gem now sacrifices an Exceptional Support Gem for 3 high Level, high Quality Support Gems.
