Upgrade Requirements
- Skill Level: You must reach Novice level 50 in Essence Extraction.
- Quest: Once you hit level 50, a blue side quest titled "[Upgrade] Essence Extraction Specialty Skill" will appear in your quest list.
- NPC: Speak with the NPC Alzirr to initiate the quest.
Quest Objective: Finding the Ruby
The primary task for this upgrade is to gather a Splendid Ruby.
- Location: Ruby nodes are typically found in higher-level regions (often cited as level 20+ zones to the south).
- Tracking: If you have already unlocked the Gem Seeker node in your Specialty Skill tree, Ruby locations will be visible on your mini-map.
- Success Tip: Ensure you have invested skill points into Proficient Handling and Delicate Touch to increase your success rate, as rubies can be rare and nodes are limited to three harvest attempts.

Once the quest is completed, your skill grade increases to Professional, allowing you to:
- Continue earning experience points toward Professional level 50.
- Access and track more advanced resources on your map.
- Have more chances to get more kinah items.
