Continue ShoppingNot sure about anyone else, but this league feels like it's entering that quiet phase. Most builds are figured out, prices aren't really moving anymore, and my friends list is definitely less active than it was in the first month. That's usually when I start thinking about what's coming next — and yeah, 3.28 is already on my mind.
There's no official date yet, but if you've played PoE long enough, the timing kind of explains itself.
Looking back at past leagues, major updates usually land about every four months. Based on that pattern, PoE 3.28 is expected to arrive in early March. That timing feels right for players who are used to planning league starts around a full reset.
Before the league launches, there should be a reveal livestream. For players, this is the moment when speculation turns into real planning. Builds get reconsidered, stash tabs get cleaned up, and people start thinking seriously about how they want to start the next league.
Until that livestream is announced, early March is still the date most players are keeping in mind.

GGG has been pretty consistent with the four-month cycle, and if you line things up, early March makes the most sense for 3.28. That's usually how it goes: a few quiet weeks, then a reveal stream, and suddenly everyone is theorycrafting again.
Once the stream date drops, that's when the subreddit really wakes up. Every skill gets dissected, half the builds are “dead on arrival,” and somehow everyone still league starts Tornado Shot or whatever survives this time.
Nothing about 3.28 has been fully revealed yet, but long-time players have a good sense of what usually changes with a new expansion. Based on past leagues, these are the areas most players are watching closely:
Until patch notes drop, all of this remains expectation rather than confirmation, but it's grounded in how Path of Exile expansions usually work.
Obviously we don't have patch notes yet, but here's what I'm kind of hoping to see:
Right now it feels like that usual in-between period. I'm still logging in, but not grinding hard. Mostly just cleaning up challenges, testing dumb builds, or saving energy for the next reset.
At this point, I'm more excited about starting fresh than upgrading my current character again. New economy, new build, same mistakes all over again.
Until GGG actually announces the reveal stream, this is all just guessing. Still, early March feels like the safest bet for 3.28, based on how PoE leagues usually work.
Curious what everyone else is hoping for — big balance changes, Atlas reworks, or just a smoother league start?
