In Arc Raiders, Wires are a fundamental crafting component you’ll need for everything from basic gear upgrades to advanced gadgets. Since you can't just find a "box of wires" sitting on a shelf, you have to extract them from the mechanical junk and hardware you scavenge during your runs.

Electrical & Tech‑Heavy Areas

Wires are most common in areas marked as Electrical or Technological loot zones on the map. These include:

• Power Generation Complex (Dam Battlegrounds) – great for wires
• Research & Administration (Dam Battlegrounds) – lots of tech, good for wires + batteries
• Control Tower (Dam Battlegrounds and other maps) – tech containers
• Electrical Substation / Power Stations on any map, especially Dam Battlegrounds
• Similar areas on other maps like Spaceport or Buried City will also have them later in the game.

Your best early‑game map for farming is Dam Battlegrounds, since it has multiple tech‑heavy POIs clustered together.

5. How to Actually Farm Wires Efficiently

1. Loot Containers in Electrical/Tech Zones

Search everything in those areas:

• Drawers & cabinets
• Fuse boxes

2. Recycle Items for Wires
