Zizaran's Class Gauntlet 2025: Prize & Rewards

Get ready, Exiles—Zizaran's iconic Class Gauntlet is back for 2025 and more brutal than ever before. Running for 10 days starting July 31st at 3PM PDT (Aug 1st, 6AM GMT+8), this event invites the boldest players to face one of the most punishing hardcore competitions in Path of Exile. This year brings a major twist: console players can finally join the fray in a special, separate version of the Gauntlet!

Console Gauntlet Rewards

For the first time ever, console players can participate in a dedicated Merciless Gauntlet. While not eligible for the PC prize pool, console players can still earn exclusive in-game cosmetics:

• Gauntlet Glove Effect: Earned by defeating Hillock. This cosmetic dynamically tracks the highest level you reach in Gauntlet Events.
• Dawn of the Hunt Mystery Box: Awarded for completing the campaign.

Note: Console players will not be eligible for PC-based points or bounty prizes.

PC Gauntlet Overview

The PC Gauntlet is once again hosted in partnership with Zizaran, and features a Hardcore Solo Self-Found Mercenaries Event League. Expect devastating damage mods, tankier mobs, and boss fights that push you to your limit. Prepare wisely—this Gauntlet is not for the faint of heart.

Active Modifiers by Area Level

Here's a breakdown of what to expect in each level bracket:

Level 1–45 Zones

• 20% Less Damage Taken
• 20% Increased Damage
• 10% Increased Attack, Cast, and Movement Speed
• +2 Additional Projectiles
• 20% Elemental Penetration

Level 46–67 Zones

• 30% Less Damage Taken
• 30% Increased Damage
• 30% Increased Attack, Cast, and Movement Speed
• 100% Increased Monster Area of Effect
• Monsters deal 30% Physical as Extra Chaos

Level 68–72 Zones

• 20% Less Damage Taken
• 20% Increased Damage
• 20% Increased Attack, Cast, and Movement Speed

Level 73–77 Zones

• 25% Less Damage Taken
• 25% Increased Damage
• 25% Increased Attack, Cast, and Movement Speed

Level 78–83 Zones

• 30% Less Damage Taken
• 30% Increased Damage
• 15% Increased Attack, Cast, and Movement Speed

Level 84 Zones (Excluding T17)

• 150% Increased Unique Monster Life (up from 100% last year)
• 40% Increased Damage
• Shaper Apparitions (replacing Sirus Apparitions)

Level 84 – Tier 17 Maps

• No Additional Modifiers
• T17 Bosses drop 5 Fragments

Level 85+ Zones (Uber Bosses)

• 60% Less Damage Taken (up from 50%)
• 125% Increased Damage (up from 100%)
• 40% Increased Attack, Cast, and Movement Speed
• +3 Additional Projectiles
• 50% Increased Monster Area of Effect (up from 30%)
• Shaper Apparitions
• Consume Additional Portal on Entry

How to Join the Gauntlet

1. Launch Path of Exile during the event.
2. On the character select screen, choose the “Merciless Gauntlet Event” league from the left panel.
3. Survive, grind, and climb the ladder!

To join the Gauntlet, simply launch Path of Exile during the event period. On the character selection screen, locate the “Merciless Gauntlet Event” league on the left panel and create your character within it. Once inside, your mission is clear: survive the brutal modifiers, grind your way through dangerous zones, and climb the leaderboard by pushing your level and progression as far as possible.
