How to use PoE Memory of Reverence?

In Path of Exile 3.28 (the Mirage expansion), the Memory of Reverence is a new endgame item that interacts with the Atlas of Worlds to provide access to powerful boss encounters.

Memory of Reverence

• Adds a Memory Thread to the Atlas leading to the Incarnation of Dread

Key Mechanics

• Atlas Application: When used, it adds a Memory Thread to a specific quadrant of the Atlas.
• Progression: Following these threads leads players through a series of maps, eventually culminating in a fight against the Incarnation of Dread.
• Rewards: Successfully completing these memory chains can reward players with the Echo of Reverence fragment, which is now a requirement for the Maven's Invitation: The Feared.

How to use Memory of Reverence?

Speak to Eagon in your Hideout to right click Memory of Reverence and then left click a Map on your Atlas to apply a Memory Thread to that quadrant.

Incarnation of Dread

Incarnation of Dread is a pinnacle boss and one of The Incarnations. Defeating all three Incarnations unlocks the memory influenced map mechanic.

Endgame Changes in 3.28

• The Feared Invitation: In the current 3.28/3.27 meta, The Feared has been updated to require witnesses for Sirus (Eye of the Storm) and the Incarnation of Dread (Moment of Reverence), replacing Chayula and Atziri.
• Uber Versions: Introduced alongside this system are Reverent Fragments, which allow players to access the Uber version of the Moment of Reverence boss fight for even greater challenges and loot.
• Memory Vaults: Slaying Incarnation bosses for the first time or through specific memory paths may grant access to Memory Vaults, where players can choose from a selection of powerful rewards.
