The EAT-411 Leveller is a support weapon in Helldivers 2, characterized as a single-use, high-yield explosive launcher often described as a "portable Hellbomb".
Key Characteristics
- Destructive Power: It features Anti-Tank II penetration, allowing it to one-shot super-heavy enemies like Bile Titans and Factory Striders.
- Disposable Nature: Like the EAT-17, it is discarded after a single shot. However, unlike the EAT-17 (which drops two tubes), the Leveller only provides one tube per call-in.
- Ballistics: It has significant projectile drop and a low effective range. The projectile travels roughly 80m when fired straight up and is heavily affected by gravity, requiring players to aim high for distant targets.
- Utility: Its demolition force is sufficient to destroy enemy spawners (bug holes and fabricators) from the outside, but it cannot destroy massive structures like Stratagem Jammers or Detector Towers.
Acquisition & Deployment
- Unlock: Found on Page 2 of the Siege Breakers Warbond for 85 Medals (the Warbond itself costs 1,000 Super Credits).
- Stratagem Code: Down, Down, Left, Up, Down.
- Cooldown: Approximately 140 seconds (base), which can be reduced to 120 seconds with ship upgrades.
EAT-411 Leveller Damage Profile
The EAT-411 Leveller, introduced in the Siege Breakers Warbond, is an extremely high-damage, disposable anti-tank weapon designed for heavy destruction. Its damage is split between a direct projectile hit and a massive area-of-effect explosion.
- Standard Projectile Damage: 1,000.
- Explosive Damage: 2,500.
- Total Potential Damage: Up to 3,500 on a direct hit.
- Armor Penetration: Anti-Tank II (Level 7+), allowing it to penetrate the heaviest armor in the game without damage reduction.
Explosive Radius & Utility
- Inner Radius: 10m (deals full 2,500 damage).
- Outer Radius: 25m (damage scales down to 0).
- Shockwave Radius: 35m (visual/stagger effect).
- Demolition Force: 40, which is enough to destroy most enemy structures, buildings, and Bile Titan bug holes from the outside.
Combat & Targeting Tips
- Account for Extreme Drop: The projectile has significant drag and gravity. It behaves similarly to the GP-20 Ultimatum but travels faster (50m/s vs 20m/s). You must aim high for distant targets.
- Distance Reference: Firing straight up while hip-firing will hit approximately 100 meters away on flat ground. Firing straight up while aiming will hit approximately 80 meters away.
- Ping for Precision: Use the in-game ping to mark your target first. Tilt the Leveller back until the ping aligns with specific parts of your Helldiver's body (like the elbow or wing) to act as a makeshift rangefinder.
- Target the Center of Mass: It features Anti-Tank II penetration, allowing its massive explosion to damage multiple body parts of a heavy enemy simultaneously. One shot can often down a Bile Titan or Factory Strider if well-placed.
Strategic Utility
- Destruction Limitations: While it can destroy Vox Engines and heavy tanks, it only has a Demolition Force of 40. This means it cannot destroy Stratagem Jammers, Detector Towers, or Gunship Factories.
- Manage the Cooldown: The base cooldown is 140 seconds (reducible to 120s with ship upgrades), and you only get one tube per call-in. Use it as an "opening move" or emergency delete button rather than your primary anti-tank tool.
- Clear the Area: The blast radius is immense. Avoid firing at targets closer than 20–30 meters unless you are prepared for a "heroic sacrifice".
Comparison to EAT-17
While the standard EAT-17 provides two launchers per call-in with a short 70-second cooldown, the Leveller provides only one launcher per call-in with a longer 140-second cooldown. It acts more like a "mini-nuke" or a handheld version of the 500kg Bomb, capable of one-shotting Factory Striders if placed correctly.
