The Showstopper is a rare grenade in Arc Raiders designed to disable enemies rather than deal direct damage. It detonates after a short delay and stuns targets caught within its radius. Used correctly, it creates safe openings for repositioning, revives, or finishing fights on your terms.

What Is the Showstopper?

Showstopper is a Quick Use, Rare grenade that applies a stun effect in an area after a timed detonation. It works on both ARC enemies and Raiders, but the stun duration differs.

Key Characteristics

  • Type: Grenade
  • Rarity: Rare
  • Use: Crowd control and disengage
  • Detonation: Delayed
  • Effect: Area stun

This makes it especially useful in tight spaces, during ambushes, or when escaping unfavorable encounters.

The longer ARC stun time makes it particularly effective against machines, while the shorter Raider stun still provides enough time to reposition or push.

How to Get the Showstopper Blueprint

There are two known ways to access the Showstopper:

  1. Scavenging. The grenade itself can appear as loot during raids. This is unreliable and depends heavily on RNG.
  2. Crafting (Blueprint Required). To craft Showstoppers consistently, you must first unlock and learn the Showstopper blueprint. Once learned, crafting becomes the most stable long-term option.

Most players who rely on Showstoppers regularly choose to unlock the blueprint instead of depending on drops.

Showstopper Crafting Requirements

After learning the blueprint, the Showstopper can be crafted at the Explosives Station Level 3.

Crafting produces one Showstopper per recipe.

For players who prefer a more direct route, some choose to Buy Arc Raiders Showstopper blueprints from U4N instead of relying on random drops. This approach can save time if you plan to use Showstoppers regularly, letting you focus on upgrading your Explosives Station and gathering materials rather than repeating raids for RNG-based loot.

Where to Find the Showstopper Blueprint

There is currently no fixed or guaranteed spawn location for the Showstopper Blueprint. Like many higher-tier blueprints in ARC Raiders, it appears as random loot.

Known ways players have found it include:

  • Random loot in high-tier containers. The blueprint can appear in loot containers found across different maps, but the drop rate is low.
  • Raider Caches and breach rooms. Containers behind breach doors or in special loot rooms tend to have better loot tables and higher chances for rare blueprints.
  • Residential and medium-loot zones. Areas with many buildings and rooms provide more containers per run, which increases the number of chances to roll for blueprints.

Some players have reported receiving the Showstopper Blueprint as a quest reward, but this is not widely confirmed and does not appear to be a guaranteed method.

Best Ways to Get the Blueprint

Because the Showstopper Blueprint relies heavily on RNG, efficiency matters more than chasing a single location.

1. Focus on High-Loot Areas

Prioritize zones with dense loot, breach rooms, and high-value containers. More containers opened per raid means better overall odds.

2. Run Night Raids

Many players report that night raids tend to offer better loot quality. While not guaranteed, this can slightly improve blueprint drop chances.

3. Loot Residential Buildings

Multi-room buildings often contain several small containers. These runs are safer than breach-heavy routes and still offer many loot rolls.

4. Open Every Container

Blueprints can drop from many container types, not just weapon cases. Backpacks, cabinets, duffel bags, and raid caches are all worth checking.

Recycling and Salvaging

If you no longer need Showstoppers, they can be broken down for resources.

ProcessMaterials Gained
Recycling2× Battery, 1× Electrical Components
Salvaging2× Battery

This makes unused grenades a reasonable source of batteries, especially during resource management phases.

How to Use Showstopper Effectively

  • Against ARC enemies: Use the full stun duration to reposition, heal, or focus weak points.
  • Against Raiders: Throw before pushing or when retreating to interrupt aim and movement.
  • Tight areas: Corridors and doorways increase reliability due to the 6m radius.
  • Team play: Combine with coordinated pushes or revives for maximum value.

Avoid throwing it too close to yourself, as mistiming the delay can reduce its effectiveness.

Is the Showstopper Blueprint Worth Unlocking?

For players who value control over raw damage, the Showstopper blueprint is worth learning. It offers reliable crowd control, scales well into later encounters, and provides tactical flexibility that standard damage grenades do not. If you regularly face ARC-heavy zones or solo dangerous areas, it becomes even more valuable.
