Key Features & Loot
Loot Quality: These lockers frequently drop epic-tier weapons such as the Bobcat, Tempest, and Vulcano.
Spawn Logic: While once fixed, lockers now spawn dynamically across all maps (Buried City, Spaceport, Dam Battlegrounds) to prevent players from rushing the same static points every match.
Night Raids: The quality and quantity of loot from these breaches are significantly improved during night-time events.
Shared Access: Once you unlock the skill, you can also search lockers that have already been opened by other players.
Loot Content & Odds
On average, a single Security Breach locker yields about 7 to 13 items. Common loot includes:
High-Tier Weapons: Frequent drops of Epic-tier weapons like the Wolfpack, Bobcat, Bettina, and Tempest.
Blueprints: You will often find multiple weapon blueprints and complex gun parts.
Explosives & Ammo: Lockers typically contain ~2 explosives and at least 2 types of different ammo (Light, Medium, Heavy, or Shotgun).
Epic Chance: There is approximately a 50% chance of finding at least one Epic item per locker.
Is It Worth It?
The community consensus is that while the skill requires a "hefty investment" that limits your ability to max out other trees (like Mobility or Conditioning), it remains the best endgame skill for dedicated scavengers. Despite a "nerf" shortly after launch that adjusted drop rates, recent "ninja buffs" in early 2026 have made it highly rewarding again.
Common Locations (Likely Spawn Points)
Buried City: Pharmacies, the hospital rooftop (via zipline), and the second floor of the library.
Spaceport: The bottom floor of the space travel building and various locked rooms requiring keys.
Dam Battlegrounds: There are approximately 14 known locations where these breaches can appear.
Note: Do not attempt to use "door-glitching" exploits to access these rooms without the skill; developer Embark Studios has been issuing 30-day suspensions for such behavior as of January 2026.
